We would like to kindly inform you that from 12.06.2017 Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska starts receiving the applications for accommodation in the Students Dormitory.

Applications must be submitted to the Student Affairs Departments assigned to particular study programs in rooms: 266R, 267R, 268R located in the main building of the University on 95/97 Sidorska street, or to the Administration of the Students Dormitory (room 135) located on 105 Sidorska street, within the following deadlines:

  • Until July 14th, 2017 - Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska students (results will be announced on 31.07.2017)
  • Until August 14th 2017 - Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska applicants (results will be announced on 31.08.2017)
     

Monthly fees for accommodation in the Students Dormitory for the 2017/2018 academic year will be announced on the university website at the end of April this year.

 Application for a place in the Students Dormitory  can be downloaded from the university website or taken from the Student Affairs Departments or from the Administration of the Students Dormitory (room 135).

Applicants will be selected on the basis of the qualification procedure conducted by the selection board appointed by the Rector.

The decision on accommodation is made by the Rector on the basis of the application submitted by the selection board. The application for accommodation must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • a certificate from the tax office about net income obtained in 2016 by all adults living in a common household
  • for applicants owning a farm - a certificate from the Municipality Office
  • a certificate from a school/college confirming enrollment of siblings  under 26 years of age
  • for applicants with a disability - a certificate of disability

 

Attention:

Foreigners must also submit a certificate of residence address (family composition). All documents must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator.

Candidates for studies in the area of Nursing Program in English, which is covered by the EU project, in the 2017/2018 academic year are provided a place of accommodation in the Students Dormitory automatically.

On the day of check-in, the students sign:

- Tenancy Agreement
- Personal Questionnaire
- Room Equipment Register
- a Statement on Familiarization with the Regulations of the Students Dormitory
- Authorisation to Process Personal Data
- enclosed must be: two photos, photocopy of the passport, visa and proof of payment of the deposit

Persons resigning from the accommodation in the Students Dormitory are obliged to immediately notify the Student Affairs Department of that fact. In this case the place of accommodation in the Students Dormitory will be given to the next person on the waiting list.
